Wesley Mission
Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme
I am a sociology graduate and social science student based in Sydney, Australia, with roots in Bogura, Bangladesh.
My interests centre on ageing, social connection, community wellbeing and social inequality. I am developing a social work pathway alongside volunteering and continuing academic learning.

My academic background is in sociology. I completed a Bachelor of Social Science and a Master of Social Science in Sociology at Begum Rokeya University in Bangladesh.
I am currently studying a Graduate Certificate in Social Science at ACAP in Australia, with the intention of progressing towards a Master of Social Work (Qualifying).
My community volunteering has strengthened my interest in companionship, participation and the social conditions that shape people’s lives. This website brings together those interests, earlier academic work and research questions in development.
